1994 General Election
South Africa's first non-racial, universal-franchise election. 26-29 April 1994
The first election in which all adult South Africans could vote. Long queues, a new flag, a new constitution in the making. There was no pre-existing voters' roll, so official turnout against registered voters is not available.

Province figures are the provincial legislature ballot in each province (parties that won seats shown, up to six; others grouped). They are a separate ballot from the national figures. Limpopo was called Northern Province (initially Northern Transvaal) at the time; modern names are used on the map.
